Frequently Asked Questions
Basic answers for clients, psychotherapists, and partners using the NURT platform.
What is NURT?
NURT is a directory and referral platform for nurse psychotherapists. It helps people discover psychotherapists, review public profiles, and send inquiries.
Does NURT provide therapy directly?
No. NURT does not provide therapy or crisis care. Care is provided by independent psychotherapists listed on the platform.
How are psychotherapists approved?
Before publication, psychotherapist applications are reviewed by admins with attention to registration body and license number details. Only approved profiles are shown publicly.
Can I book sessions on NURT?
Not at this time. Clients can send an inquiry through a psychotherapist profile and continue the conversation directly with that psychotherapist.
Is there a fee to use the directory?
No. Browsing the directory and sending an inquiry are free for clients.
How do psychotherapists join?
Psychotherapists can apply through the For Psychotherapists page, submit their credentials and profile details, and wait for admin review before publication.
Still need help?
You can browse the directory, review the psychotherapist application page, or contact support at support@nurt.care.
